lp:~jeremywootten/pantheon-files/fix-798470-merge-files-to-folder-by-drag-drop

Created by Jeremy Wootten and last modified

This branch implements the possibility of special actions when dropping files, in addition to the usual copy, move and link.

It implements the special action of merging the files in the drop file list into a new folder as an option when the target is a normal (non-executable) file or the background. After creation of the folder and moving the files into it, the folder enters "rename" mode.

It also adds a "Merge into folder" option to the context menu when multiple items are selected.

In each case the selected/dropped files + target are moved into a new Folder with a default name, which then enters rename mode.
