Fixed write report file in the client and download it later

Getting the report directly from stdout turns out to lead to buffering problems
when the file is larger than 64kB. Hence, it's a butter alternative to download
the file after it's written in the machine being tested since there isn't such
a problem in that case.

Merged empty log generation removal

An attempt to generate empty logs is still made when the client installation
fails. These changes remove the lines that are no longer needed.
