Idle callbacks

Since GTK has deprecated its thread safety mechamism, and since
GApplication doesn't support it at all, introduce coverage of the Glib
idle handler mechanism.

Application management

Merge 'application' branch exposing coverage of GApplication and
GtkApplication. Exposes a new way of running programs, with creating a
new Application and then calling its run() method instead of
Gtk.main().

Fix unit tests

Fix unit test suite by moving calls forcing static initalizers to
setUp() methods. This is a bit weird; those classes should have been
loaded by earlier tests fixtures. Apparently the classloader isolation
has become stronger in Java 7.
