Add testing that 'debug-log' gives information even after lots of logging

The test doesn't yet test that the logging database doesn't grow without bound, or that 'logsink.log' is getting rotated when JES is enabled. But it does catch bug #1524135 that debug-log was broken once the database log grew too large.
