References lp:1260193 - before parameter can be set, it must be "registered" with configuration object. A module that wants to define some configuration parameters must also define a static method to pre-populate passed config object with parameter keys and (optionally) their default values. This method then must be called on replicator construction, before option string is parsed. Thus unrecongnized parameters will be detected.
