switch auth v2 to json

Keystone somehow managed to build a time machine and break the years-old v2
auth API by no longer supporting XML. So this makes it use json instead,
somewhat hanging off of Lucas C. Villa Real's work for v3 auth.

It is a little ugly, and my C is super rusty, but "It works on my machine!"

Also I really regret that you can't authenticate with Rackspace's cloud using
password auth - only API keys work. But due to my poor choice to overload the
same variable for both apikey and password, changing that could break some
configs now. So here we are.
