I already posted in the bug tracker that this solution works just fine with Firefox 3.0. It doesn't work with Firefox 3.5 (Ubuntu 9.10) but this version of Firefox seems to have problems with all kinds of MIME types anyway. I'm pretty sure that the Ubuntu and Firefox developers are working on that and that it will be fixed when Ubuntu 9.10 is officially released.
