checkbox-gui: Add some really basic autopilot tests

Something I worked on after dinner at the weekend. I think we should
start looking at high-level functional tests for checkbox-gui. This is a
beta of that effort. It needs more work to get it working effectively, but
these simple tests will serve as an example of how to write such tests.
