PPA description
Ubuntu packages for the latest PHP5.4.0 development version.
Simple way to test if your application works with the new "minor" release of PHP, or just to checkout all the features.
Notes: This package differs from the standard Debian/Ubuntu packages in few ways (besides the fact they don't provide PHP5.4):
* Hardened-Patch removed
* (PDO_)MySQL(i) is built against mysqlnd (MySQL Native Driver)
* The maxlifetime hack to cleanup session files is removed
- Shows the configure line in phpinfo()
Binary builds are provided for Lucid, Maverick, and Natty
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:bjori/php5-daily to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bjori/php5-daily
sudo apt update
