Backport fix to 1.6 branch as it's needed for running test suite in Jenkins.

  innobackupex ignores --ibbackup and calls set_xtrabackup_version() anyway.

  Originally reported by Baron, then issue also filed by customer.

  Suggested fix by Baron is in fact correct.

  I audited codepath selecting $option_ibbackup_binary and all calls out to ibbackup/xtrabackup for use of this variable.

  I also audited all paths executing xtrabackup to ensure that they would die on error (e.g. if you specify a binary that doesn't exist).
