Also require python-dev without a version, to be sure it's included.

422. By Andreas Hasenack on 2011-12-14

Optionally, but by default, require a minimum version of python-dev so that dh_python2 can be used.

Merged apt-facade-indicate-reporter-ran [r=tealeg,ack] [f=903202].

Combine apt_update_stamp_filename and smart_update_stamp_filename. This
makes things simpler, and we won't have to choose which one to check in
PackageChange, to determine whether the package reporter has run.

When fixing ownership of files in /var/lib/landscape, be more specific
and handle only files under /var/lib/landscape/client, which are the
client ones. Otherwise, then the client is installed in an LDS server,
since there are many more files under /var/lib/landscape, the previous
"find" command would take too long.

Revert changes that deal with older smart version. [trivial] [r=free]

Turned out we required a newer smart version for the landscape-client,
which has support for the Breaks field, so no need to special case hardy
in the tests.

418. By Björn Tillenius on 2011-12-14

Merged hardy-test-failures [r=free.ekanayaka,ack] [f=862212].

Fix remaining test failures in hardy. There were two issues. The first
one was that namedtuple was used in a test, which isn't available in
python2.5. The other was that the tests included the Breaks field when
computing the hash of packages. Since the Breaks field didn't exist when
hardy was released, smart doesn't include it when computing the hash.

Merged apt-hardy-fixes [r=free.ekanayaka,ack] [f=897656,898542].

Fix Apt related failures in hardy.

    * Ignore a FutureWarning from the apt module
    * Skip tests using AptFacade on hardy
    * Make hardy always use SmartFacade.

Hardy has a really old version of python-apt, and making AptFacade work
with it isn't trivial. So landscape client will keep using SmartFacade
on hardy.

There are still test failures on hardy, but this branch fixes the Apt
related ones. I'll look at the remaining failures next.

416. By Björn Tillenius on 2011-12-07

Merged skip-multi-arch-tests [r=ack,milner] [f=898681,898683].

Fix Lucid test failures.

    * Apt progress output is slightly different
    * Multi-arch tests fail, since multi-arch isn't supported on Lucid
    * Test failure if /etc/apt/source.list has been updated recently
      (not Lucid-specific)

415. By Thomas Herve on 2011-12-07

Remove the hardware-inventory schema [trivial]

414. By Thomas Herve on 2011-12-05

Merge lshw [r=milner,ack] [f=899002]

Add support for reporting hardware information using lshw. It also drops
HAL support, removing all remaining occurences of DBus usage.
