A simple power management daemon. Typically this will be run on a headless server such as file server etc...
This takes some inspiration from the powernap project which I helped out on some time ago. Unfortunately due to some disagreements on the best way forward I've decided to write this from the ground up with a more event based approach that will hopefully be more responsive without burning CPU.
Whether this will be of any use to others I've no idea at this point.

Started the basic daemon stuff required for the main process, mostly this is nicked from previous work although I have made a few minor tweaks.
