Same problem here.

Toshiba A500-1GR
Intel® Core™ i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz × 4
Ram: 3,8 Gb
Graphic card: Nvidia Geforce 330M
Resolution: 1366x768
Os: i386

The bug seems to happen when the dash is maximised and less when it's not. it takes sometime even though..
The bug just began to happen after I installed some lenses (wikipedia, cities, calc) from ppa:scopes-packagers/ppa. Don't know if it has anything to do with it but it was smooth before I installed those lenses and it didn't go back when I removed them.. Anyone have installed some lenses too?
