This is unbelievably inconvenient and IMO shows the dire lack of use testing put into unity2d. This is a showstopper IMO and unity2d should NEVER have been released in this state. The fact it STILL hasn't been fixed after over two weeks shows just how little importance the Ubuntu project places on unity2d and its users.
