This commit enabled the pulseaudio alsa plugin to use 32-bit sample lengths via PulseAudio, however PulseAudio 0.9.10 in Intrepid doesn't support these sample lenths in its API. This resulted in gstreamer applications failing to play audio with an error, when attempting to use pulseaudio output via the alsa pulseaudio plugin. It was also breaking SDL applications/games that were using SDL's ALSA output. (LP: #274124)
