I just upgraded intrepid on my amiloa cy-26 laptop and updated my logfile :
Xorg-xserver-xorg-video-radeon-1:6.9.0+git20080802.1f3eee36-1ubuntu1-rzr.log

tvout is back (but still out of sync on PAL, it should work on NTSC according to upstream log)

now a few comments :

@brian> test this particular bug just using the Live CD?
I am afraid it wont work never worked with this xorg serie,
Would you also like us to test the livecd ?

did you tried to force it ? (see http://rzr.online.fr/q/xrandr )
