I can confirm this bug still exists in up-to-date Karmic. Only the screensaver problem seems to have been *partially* resolved. Further when almost every time i exit from the screensaver , i find an icon of "fullscreen"[attaching screenshot] in the notification area with tooltips asking me to contact the distributor and pointing to this blog>

Or maybe the problem still exists because i was using xset , [$xset s 300] to blank the screen because of the screensaver problem.

$ xset -q

  auto repeat: on key click percent: 0 LED mask: 00000000

Have the setting been messed up? even if its not messed up, How do i *reset* the xset settings? as in, i was able to set the time limit but how to switch it back off?
