Unfortunately the RenderAccell wasn't a solution. The issue keeps coming up, and it's also occurs with other programs than openoffice. This time it froze with firefox. I also noticed that I cannot connect via ssh to the box anymore. Again, no logs show any signs of anything out of order, except for this in xorg log.

I'm thinking of starting to use the kernel from dapper to get rid of this issue. Any reason not to?
