Tested with latest omapfb available (http://gitweb.pingu.fi/?p=xf86-video-omapfb.git;a=summary) and was still able to reproduce the issue. While testing with Unity-2d the behavior is weird, as at the first moment the display is fine, but then it seems that the Unity-2d is redraw and then the error appears.
Once you remove the xserver-xorg-video-omap3 package (using omapfb) it all works fine.
