I feel like this is a good idea for a stable release update. Wine has gone through a very conservative process for porting patches into 1.0.1, and a regression seems particularly unlikely. Most of the changes are just translation updates. Eventually, I'd like to see Wine be given a standing micro-release exception much like Mozilla has: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates/MicroReleaseExceptions

An SRU will also give me a chance to import two other small changes to the hardy package: /bugs.launchpad .net/bugs/ 191132 (Recommend the wine-gecko package) /bugs.launchpad .net/bugs/ 247746 (Change winbind from depends to recommends)

The wine-gecko package in Intrepid should be uploaded as part of the SRU as well; for Hardy, it would be a new package.
