Any packages that are not part of the main repositories may have increased delays in security and regular updates. I'd like to know if there's any reason besides problems with proprietary drivers why you wouldn'tbe using vino instead (included in the standard Ubuntu Gnome desktop) ?

I'd like to help with this particular bug, but I need a complete step-by-step procedure to reproduce it, including the initial setup of vnc4server and any configuration files.
