I disagree with this logic. It should not be assumed that the user always wants to install in the largest available space (whether that be in a partition or unallocated).

This is the case for me. I have a 60GB WinXP partition (30GB free) and 20GB unallocated. This logic assumes that I want to install by resizing the WinXP partition, but I just want to install in the unallocated space (more than enough for the install).

The the option for installing in unallocated space should always be offered when there is enough space, not just when the unallocated space is the largest available.
