Comment 7 for bug 1754174

Reproduced in kvm/qemu by booting to the installer from the boot menu. Can't reproduce by booting to the desktop first and clicking the install icon.

The first obvious bug (assumption that py2 exists in the target when it doesn't) is glaringly obvious in the code. Not sure yet how that would cause all the errors that follow, but it just might be that one thing that needs fixing.
