Comment 2 for bug 365151

I was unable to reproduce the reported error with synaptic 0.62.5ubuntu2.1 after performing an update from intrepid (notify-osd and screen-profiles, both added in jaunty, showed up when entered into the search location); however, with the version of synpatic in jaunty-proposed, 0.62.5ubuntu3, searching still worked after waiting for the re-indexing operation to complete. Other operations, such as adding, removing, and updating software also continued to function, so this update appears to be safe from a regressions standpoint.
