For the time being I pushed a best effort inclusion of the patch in comment #6 as "qemu_4.2-3ubuntu2~ugly1" into the PPA that xnox already linked.

I further hit and needed changes for:
- ERROR: unknown option --disable-bluez
... ongoing ...
