Irom: Can you give me the output of the following commands at the command line:

glxinfo | grep direct

glxinfo | grep OpenGL

It also looks like your driconf settings may not be their default values. Try the default settings first, then experiment from there. It is strange that glxgears thinks you are running in vsync mode, but your results don't exhibit that.
