Comment 32 for bug 917962

Sorry at time of posting [#31] I had not yet tried kernel in post [#27]. Now tried it and cannot say if it fixes it or not - simply because it won't boot anymore with that kernel installed (last thing that appears on screen are some apparmor messages, but they don't look like errors)
