Jackpot, this build generates the bug.

Actually, I restarted my laptop a second time to check if the behavior
was consistent and it wen much worse, the spalsh screen went
completely corrupted with repeated fragments of part of the desktop
under the cursor in weird colors.

Switched back to previous Kernel meanwhile.
