pm-utils no longer contains 00suspend-blacklist and suspend works, however the issue with resume from suspend when there is no battery present still remains.

Should I open another bug?

I will now try with 2.6.34-rc6 kernel (from kernel mainline ppa) to see if this problem exists with this kernel, and post results here.
