Sorry, I don't have the hardware in use anymore. As soon as I switched mainboard the installation went smoothly, though.
If you can wait for me putting the board in a test system I can try it with my recently arrived Kubuntu 9.10 CD.
On second thought it might also be a hardware failure since the board ran for quite some time 24/7...
