Comment 23 for bug 292256

Hm.. I don't get it...
Why does 98smart-kernel-video remove these quirks which are "known to work"?
(My laptop for example: it is listed in /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/20-video-quirk-pm-samsung.fdi with the right quirk, vbe-post.
The ibm x40 can be found in 20-video-quirk-pm-ibm.fdi...
But regardless of that the quirks seem to be removed.)
Am I mixing things up?
