Hi Mike,

In the logs, it seems that you have SMT enabled. KVM does not work with SMT enabled on ppc64el.

Would you mind running with SMT=off and rerun and posting the new logs, please?

In order to disable SMT, please run:

# ppc64_cpu --smt=off
