Today with up to date ISO.

nVidia 8600GT

Booting starts. I get an error about video mode. Space to continue or scan produce same results. Plymouth looks great in correct resolution then garbage desktop. Multicoloured pixels. Launcher is there as it top panel but no mouse pointer but mouse is there.

Rebooting and using nomodeset works and desktop appears but is very sluggish and compiz crashes.

I would not install using this.
