Can't confirm fix as I can't find a 3.5.0-16.24 AMD64 build as yet and I'm not keen on building one from scratch. Maybe we need to log the ASUS UX32A problem as separate since although the symptoms are the same as @peterrus his went away with one of the mods here but he had a UX32VD.
