In this case, I'd like to know what card are you excatly using. Did you try to run wpa_supplicant by hand? please save the debug log in a file and attach it to this bug when running it manually.

Did you try to run 'ifup --verbose eth1'? please attach your /etc/network/interfaces and your wpa_supplicant.conf.
