 Yes, did run running liferea directly, and no there is no other version
installed on PATH:

$ which liferea
/usr/bin/liferea
$ /usr/bin/liferea
Segmentation fault

I think my error (bug 309640 -
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/liferea/+bug/309640) may be
slightly different?
