Comment 7 for bug 88815

Just wondering, if for my case, could it be because the ati drivers are still compiled for xorg 7.1.1 when I am running xorg 7.2? I tried running the debian ati drivers (did not fix the problem) since it showed a newer version, but it is also compiled for 7.1.1 and not 7.2.
