This is the correct md5sum.

Do the symlinks /etc/rc0.d/S60umountroot and /etc/rc6.d/S60umountroot exist?

Right, sorry - answered my own question by looking there after sending the
previous mail.

Yep, apparently. And the system shuts down cleanly, no fsck being required
on the next boot due to the disk not having been unmounted correctly?
