Ah, OK. In that case, it seems that Scott McLeod may be the only person so far who has experienced this bug on an Ubuntu Server system (since what you installed was a non-Server Ubuntu system with no GUI; see https://help.ubuntu.com/11.04/serverguide/C/preparing-to-install.html for an explanation of what's different between the Desktop and Server editions of Ubuntu, besides how servers typically don't have GUI's and desktop systems typically do).
