I've been helping plenty of people over on the forums who install/upgrade to Lucid and are faced with a nonfunctional computer on the next boot because they misunderstood something in the grub install or upgrade process. It's not always this particular bug, but all user interface issues in grub are astronomically important.
Please mark this important! The trauma for new users whose computer seems to have died on them post-ubuntu is huge.
