Some more context:

- dannf experienced this bug on a non-securely booting system, hence the fix applied for the bug (enabling peimage on arm64) solved it for him, that's why we closed it.

- we will backport 2.12 which has peimage on secure boot platforms in the coming months which will also fix the issue on secure boot platforms
