I created patch for this request.

Now key 'r' to start recording is in mirror with key 's' to stop recording.

New table with available keyboard shortcuts:

Open the help F1
START RECORDING r
STOP RECORDING s
Mute/unmute the volume m
Quit Gnomeradio q
Scan forward f
Scan backwards b
Select next preset n
Select previous preset p
Increase volume +
Decrease volume -
