Confirming flickering video, ATI Radeon HD 4670, AMD Athlon X2 @2.7GHz, 4GB RAM, x86_64. Tweaking video players resolves issue; new 9.1 RC2 drivers do *not*.

Why is this such a big issue for ATI to get over? It isn't like their Windows drivers have this issue, nor is it like NVIDIA shows that they have this issue.

Gotta say, I'm not looking forward to waiting for DRI2, and only God really knows when that's coming out.
