Long story short:

1- Bug is still alive
2- Happens with LiveCD/LiveDVD
3- It is NOT happening with LiveUSB - whenever you use LiveUSB, once you click on "Restart" after the installation is done, it will reboot your machine without any message at all. Which is, different behaviour.
4- I think this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1194895 is a duplicate of this one.
