Problem partially solved, see

a) BOINC Rosetta has no grafics
b) the msgs in /var/lib/boinc-client/slots/0stderr.txt are rather of interest for developers
c) Version 5.4.11 for Ubuntu is a special compilation for Ubuntu 6.10 from a sourcecode very close to that one for Windows, so it got also the version-nr 5.4.11, but in fact the binaries are completely different from that one for Windows systems.
