Ubuntu Wily has bcache-tools 1.0.8 release. There are no major changes
to bcache itself [1] save fixes for working in systemd pre-boot
environments, which for Trusty won't matter. There are a number of
package fixes related to 1.0.8 introduction of a bcache_register
program introduced for systemd preboot support. However I don't see
any compelling reason to use 1.0.8 in Trusty over what's already in
Vivid and tested (1.0.7).

This results in a no-change backport of the bcache-tools package in
Vivid into Trusty.

The MAAS and Ubuntu Server team have been testing the package from Vivid
for some time and have not found any major issues in the core function
of the package. The most common item brought up is that the interface
(sysfs) for releasing devices from bcache is somewhat awkward. I've
started on a script[2] aimed to help and will push that upstream as it
becomes tested and used.

The package that has been being tested is at https://launchpad.net/~maas-maintainers/+archive/ubuntu/experimental/+packages with a debdiff at https://launchpadlibrarian.net/214149908/bcache-tools_1.0.8-2_1.0.7-1%7E14.04.diff.gz
