I have the same problem, when I try from console on tty0 shutdown -h -P
now, then computer freezes at quiting kdm: ......, when I try shutdown
computer from KDE menu, I have a black screen with a my keyboard flag on
the top of left corner and everything freezes. I am also using nvidia
drivers from nvidia - no nv from Xfree. Do you have any solution? Thank you
