Sound is fine when login (the Ubuntu sound sounds every time) but after I'm logged trouble starts: I can hear music or video sound, and modify the volume with the software controls (that is, VLC for video or anything else for audio), but if I try to change the volume using the hotkeys ("Fn + F3/F4") or Ubuntu's (¿or is it GNOME?) volume control (the one on the upper panel), all sound is gone until restart.

I tried to change the volume mixer from "HDA Intel (Alsa mixer)" to "Analog Devices 1986A (OSS Mixer)", but then I wouldn't get any sound at all; changed it back to HDA Intel and still having the same problem.

Sound card is recognized correctly in device manager.
