Ubuntu MATE Groovy Oct 14, 2020 daily does not boot on HP Pavilion Elite HPE series Desktop PC.

I flashed/prepared the USB drive using from Ubuntu MATE Focal 20.04 using:
(1) Etcher 1.5.109 ( Balena Etcher https://github.com/balena-io/etcher/releases ),
and
(2) MultiBootUSB 9.2.0 ( https://github.com/mbusb/multibootusb/releases )
Upon reboot, and selecting the USB drive from BIOS's "One-time boot menu" option,
cursor blinks once or twice in upper left corner of the screen,
and then system displays Ubuntu MATE Focal 20.04 Grub (Grub options are: 2 kernels of Ubuntu MATE Focal and Windows 10).
So far I have tried 2 different USB ports.
Also, using the same USB drive (prepared through either Etcher or MultiBootUSB) I can boot Ubuntu MATE Focal 20.04 on the same HP desktop just fine.
Please let me know, if you want me to run any tests or something.
Thanks.
