I can also confirm success testing current daily Ubuntu Groovy iso file
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20201009.1/groovy-desktop-amd64.iso

Tested 3 machines with USB media created with "startup disk creator"

1. Dell 3521 Inspirion
2. Lenovo V14 IIL
3. Leonovo x230i

All booted successfully in BIOS and UEFI + secure boot modes.
